Wolfi (born Emerson Vernon) is an alternative pop artist from Indianapolis, IN. Vernon began his musical journey as a freshman in high school when he started a rock band with his friends as the guitarist and vocalist. After a few bad gigs, he left the group and pursued electronic music production and began posting EDM under his nickname "Emosahn". During the process of making his second album, Vernon found that he more enjoyed singing the vocal demos for his feature artists than he did producing. He began a side project where he would sing his own tracks and went by the name Young Luv. After the release of his debut album "Black" in March of 2017, he began to gain a dense following on the internet. As he began to grow, he sought perfection in his music, and changed his name to "wolfi" as it more accurately represents his overall style. In the summer of 2017, wolfi set sail on "The $ave Munny Tour" and toured the midwest with a full band behind him, and sold out his hometown of Indianapolis. In 2018 he put all his focus into “The Young Luv EP” and his various singles.
Wolfi has performed alongside B.o.B. and SayWeCanFly during his career. He has collaborated with with Artium artist Mark Battles on his track "Forever" and Epitaph Records’ “SayWeCanFly” on “Homeless”. He is currently working on his sophomore album “White” to debut January 1st, 2019.
